Password manager + authenticator

Your passwords and your 2FA codes. Finally in one place.

Auther keeps every login, one-time code, passkey and card in a single vault — end-to-end encrypted, no account to create, synced through your own iCloud.

No sign-up. Everything is real — tap the phone.
Live prototype

Don't take our word for it. Tap around.

These are the real Auther screens running right here. Switch between iPhone and Mac, jump to any flow, and click anything — it responds like the actual app.

Live — every tap works
One tap, both halves

The login and the code, side by side.

Most people keep passwords in one app and 2FA codes in another. Auther puts them on the same card, so signing in is copy password, copy code, done.

  • Rotating TOTP codes on a single 30-second sync clock — no more mismatched timers.
  • Tap-to-copy with automatic clipboard clear after 30 seconds.
  • Unlimited logins and codes on the free tier — security is never rationed.
Everything in the vault

One app for the whole login.

Built-in authenticator

Every TOTP code lives next to its login and in a dedicated Codes tab. One clock, always in sync.

End-to-end encrypted

No account, no email, no server. Your vault is encrypted on-device and only you hold the key.

iCloud sync, E2E

Syncs across your iPhone and Mac through your own iCloud, still end-to-end encrypted end to end.

AutoFill everywhere

Fill logins and codes in any iOS app and in Safari on Mac. No copy-pasting between windows.

Password health

Spot weak and reused passwords offline, and check for breaches against HaveIBeenPwned — privately.

Passkeys & cards

Store passkeys for passwordless sign-in and payment cards that autofill at checkout.

Security model

We store nothing. Because there's no server.

Auther has no backend and keeps none of your data. Your vault lives only on your devices and your own iCloud — there is nothing on our servers to leak, subpoena, or lose, because there are no servers.

Zero-knowledge

Your master password never leaves the device and is never stored. We literally cannot see inside.

No account

Nothing to sign up for. Auth is a local master password plus Face ID or Touch ID.

Private breach checks

Breach detection uses k-anonymity — your passwords are never sent anywhere in full.

Auto-lock & clear

The vault locks on a timeout and the clipboard clears itself after you copy a secret.

Pricing

A fraction of what the others charge.

The security essentials are free forever. Auther Pro is a low-cost subscription — a fraction of the price of 1Password or Dashlane — and you can cancel anytime.

Questions

Can you see my passwords?
No. Auther has no server and no account. Your vault is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password, which never leaves the device. There is nothing for us to read.
What happens if I forget my master password?
Because we can't reset something we never store, Auther gives you a one-time Recovery Kit when you set up. Keep it somewhere safe — it's the only way back in.
How much does it cost?
Auther Pro is a low-cost subscription through the App Store — a fraction of the price of 1Password or Dashlane, and you can cancel anytime. The core password and 2FA features stay free and unlimited whether or not you subscribe.
Can I move over from 1Password or Bitwarden?
Yes. Auther imports from 1Password, Bitwarden and standard CSV exports, and pulls your existing 2FA secrets in at the same time.
Does it work across my iPhone and Mac?
Yes. Your vault syncs through your own iCloud with end-to-end encryption, so it stays current on every Apple device signed into your Apple ID.

Stop juggling two apps.

Passwords, 2FA codes, passkeys and cards — one encrypted vault that only you can open.
